Towcester Food Festival 2019 ~ A review ~

Phew........ another busy Towcester Food Festival, one day in rain, one sunny warm day..... however it didn't seem to stop avid foodies turning up to sample, feast and drink their way through the days!

Towcester Food Festival

This weekend is the 5th Annual Towcester Food Festival and I am delighted to be both working and volunteering for a 4th time.

The event "*showcases the best artisian food and drink in Northamptonshire and helps energise the local food economy"

The festival runs from 10am to 6pm on Saturday June 9th and 10am to 5pm on Sunday June 10th. It takes place at Towcester Racecourse, London Road, Towcester, NN12 6LB.

There is lots going on throughout the day, you can taste and slurp your way browsing the 100 stalls, get a freshly cooked lunch to sit out on the green and listen to some fabulous bands and singers throughout the day.  

There are free chef demo areas a foodies lounge with inspirational talks on food and drink.  Adults, book yourselves in to a cocktail making class and the kids can enjoy a 'hands on' cookery session of their own.
